Ford Sales is on the Rise

Ford sales was up 19% in October, and if that's not enough, Ford Motor Co. said that annually, they have booked a 15% rise in 2010. The impressive score was highly contributed to high demands on for trucks and sedans. One of their latest launch, Ford Fiesta, is also successful on the worldwide market. "Fiesta is our strongest proof point yet that our global growth strategy is working," said Ford Motor Co.'s head of U.S. marketing, sales and service, Ken Czubay.

This is the second consecutive year where Ford managed to top the U.S. market share, leaving rivals like General Motors and Toyota behind. They are currently going strong with 1.9 million trucks and sedans sold in the U.S. alone.

Ford was recorded to have sold 190,976 vehicles in December 2010. Meanwhile, Ford’s light-vehicle sales in 2010 gained 17 percent rise to 1,968,500, including sales of Volvo, which they sold last year.
